These are some photos of the preparation, the plane ride and in the Belize area. Zoe and I stayed at the Fort George Belize City Radisson. The Radisson is the best place to stay, spend the extra money to stay there. Not too expensive, trust me on this one. It is located at the mouth of the Belize River and faces the Caribbean. This area of Belize City is where the British had their homes during their occupation, in the former British Honduras. Belize claimed its independence in 1981, and they are very proud of that fact. I am currently thinking about how to live there. Belize is an English speaking country, and about 90% of the population has dark skin.
