Episode unknown: The Wicked-Bad Guys of Polka

Some of you know that I am a long-time musician.
That's why I am called "Rockstar Nate".
Lots of hard-rock jammin' throughout my career!!!
Thundering drums, searing-high vocals, gnarly-screaming guitars, booming bass ~
And since getting a "2004 Summer Tour" with the original Beatles...is not likely
I bet few of you know of my love for polka and the accordion!!!

This is me and my band, "The Wicked-Bad Guys of Polka".

TWBGoP like to end a gig on a high-note with my "killer" solo, it is always a special treat for our fans.
You might say that the solo is a trilogy with five different parts. Cool, hun?

I play ten-minute long lead solo on my vintage 1965 Gabbanelli soprano accordion.
I don't want to give it all away, but I meld "the Munster's" theme song with "the Flight of the Bumble-Bee"...
And to spice it up, I use parts of an old Coca-Cola jingle with the classic hip-hop tune, "Da-ont axe me yo!"

The "Rockstar Nate" persona bridges the generations, good times.
I usually do "My Clam Diggin' Sweetheart", always a favourite.

This is my friend Dave.
A love of old and unusual things led David Auerbach to collect instruments and to explore the acoustics of caves.
Does he ROCK? You Betcha!

Sometimes "Rockstar Nate" jams with Nikki.
Ya know, when I rock-out with Nikki, we bare it all!!
There is nothing more spiritual, than nude accordian playing ~
We really like to jam "The Gambler" by Kenny Rogers.

This is the "Maestro" Robert Service.
He mentored me in so many ways, he taught me to be "one-with-the-tones".
We loved to play "The Trail of '98" many a stormy night.

TWBGop often have "Headless Tony" open our shows.
He mostly plays instrumentals, he doesn't sing too much....I think you know why.
And don't ask him to sing either.
He does that thing like Hendrix, except he doesn't have a guitar or a head. Crazy.

And lastly, here is vintage picture of "The Wicked-Bad Guys of Polka".
Man, those were some wacky times.
Like when Dan thought we were drinking raspberry kool-aid and it was really cherry!!!
