I work in the Network Security Business Unit, providing first level technical support via phone, web and email for WatchGuard Technologies, a manufacturer of firewalls for network and personal use. Job responsibilities include the knowledge and customer support of WatchGuard's Firebox and SOHO products. This covers support of the initial set up and configuration of the firewall, resetting the unit back to default, TCP/IP and network configurations, solving Virtual Private Network issues (authentication and encryption) and the use of the products various features. Recently, I have been involved in the company's role in supporting Washington Mutual, at their Bothell, WA contact support center.
