Well...it was nine years since the guys got together to perform in public. 1996 at the now defunct Liberty Tavern was the last performance. Until Saturday, August 13th 2005 at the Northwest Passage, in South Aberdeen.

Duke, John, Nate, and Tony rocked the crowd! Suzanne Carson-Dehnert sang a few songs too. The set list only included music from 1983 and earlier. Those were part of the rules. The guys are not rusty by any standards: Duke Harner has always kept a steady gig; recently with
Six Pack Pretty and Alpha Dog. John Purdy has been playing bass and singing back-ups in F-Line, Tony performs with his band Stifler, performing and recording in Vancouver, Washington, and Nate Whorton writes his own music (also see Nate's Profile interview from The Daily World).

The show also included Mike Murphy as a guest vocalist. He sadly passed away December 17, 2005.
He sang in Hard Touch with Tony and John, and in many other bands including Crystal Image, Shrapnel, Rogues Gallery, and Bad Karma. Mike was invited to sing a song or two at various Black Ice gigs over the years, including a keggar near Black Creek, AHS dance, the 1996 reunion, and the 2005 show. He will be greatly missed by all of us. I have a few pictures of Mike to share from Hard Touch, Rogues Gallery, and Black Ice gigs: Mike Murphy photos

And, if anyone out there has any photos of the band not seen here, let me know...I would appreciate seeing them. Email: whorton@techline.com
