I work in the Network Services Business Unit at the SafeHarbor Technology Corporation providing technical support via phone, web and email for WatchGuard Technologies, a manufacturer of firewalls for network and personal use.

Job responsibilities include the knowledge and customer support of WatchGuard's Firebox and SOHO products. This covers support of the initial set up and configuration of the firewall, resetting the unit back to default, TCP/IP, router/modem and network configurations, solving Virtual Private Network issues (authentication - SHA1 and MD5, encryption - DES and 3DES), configure SMTP, HTTP, FTP, etc… services/ports and the use of the product's various trouble-shooting and reporting features. I scored a perfect 1000 on Microsoft's TCP/IP exam. I am currently studying for the CCNA certification.
